
Kankakee County Citizens for Mental Health are hosting four informational sessions regarding the referendum, which will appear on the April 4th ballot. The sessions will be held on:
Thursday, March 23rd from noon to 1pm at the Kankakee Public Library
Thursday, March 23rd from 7pm to 8pm at the ONU Weber Center
Tuesday, March 28th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Limestone Public Library
Friday, March 31st from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Leo Hassett Community Center
The informational meetings were designed to answer residentsโ questions about the proposed ยผ cent tax increase, which strives to create long-term solutions that can potentially fill gaps in the communityโs mental health care system.
