Calling all entrepreneurs! Kankakee’s Economic and Community Development Agency is now offering a string of business-focused workshops! The workshops, which include topics like small business taxes, accessing resources, and creating business plans, are going to take place at 5pm on the first Tuesday of each month. Classes – which will be provided in both English and Spanish – will begin in February and run until October. 

Workshops will be held at 200 E.Court Street in Kankakee at the ECDA Conference Room. In addition to formal presentations, each workshop will also include an opportunity for participants to network; networking and light refreshments will take place between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Informational presentations – which will be prepared in collaboration with Fierce Financial Planning Service Inc. – will follow after.
